Earlier this evening, I attended the highly anticipated final match between New Generation FC and Red Stars FC at the Jalisco Mini Stadium oshodi of the Lagos State sports Commission, organized by the Oshodi Football Coaches Council. The match culminated in a thrilling victory for New Generation FC, with a solitary goal securing their win.
In my capacity as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots Sports, it is my duty to promote and support grassroots sports initiatives in our local communities. I am committed to fostering the development of sports at the local level, identifying talent, and providing resources to enhance the growth of our youth.
The successful organization of this event by the Oshodi Football Coaches Council demonstrates the dedication and passion of our local sports community. I commend their efforts and look forward to continued collaboration to advance grassroots sports in our state.
